In Brazil there are lots of sports newspapers and magazines with leading theme football. Brazilian journalists have plenty of work and now they are too busy at World Cup.
Brazil has the most accredited journalists at FIFA World Cup because the international governing body of football gives priority to the host country’s media.
The local media broadcasts football abundantly. Sports journalism is a big industry in Brazil. TV channels are providing comprehensive information about football. Before the match they broadcast practices and press conferences. After the match they take interviews from coaches and football players.
Brazil-Mexico match was a leading theme in the newspapers. The photos of Brazilian Neymar and Mexican Ochoa were on the front pages. It is not surprising because the Mexican goalkeeper parried a dead ball of the Brazilian leader. Besides sports newspapers and magazines, all TV channels were talking about football.
By the way, the Brazilians have very high level commentators. They comment a match in one breath and give comprehensive information about football players. They scream “goooaaal” when goal is scored in any match.
