The organizers are tightening security measures at “Maracana”. The streets are blocked and you must show ticket or accreditation to go through the police cordons.
France-Ecuador match will be held today. When South American teams are playing such behavior of the organizers is understandable. Everybody remembers behavior of ticketless Chilean fans. So, especially the Ecuadorians are checked.
The match will start in several hours and the Ecuadorians are already gathering at “Maracana”. The French are less than the Ecuadorians but perhaps, soon they will also make a noise. The Ecuadorian fans are taking pictures together, waving flags, singing, giving interviews to TV channels. In short, they are ready for the match.
